Dr. Ohayon graduated from the Faculty of Life Sciences at Bar-Ilan University with a B.Sc. degree, and then went on to graduate with honors his medical studies at the University of Szeged, Hungary with an M.D. degree. He later completed his residency in ophthalmology at Meir Hospital.
Dr. Ohayon has spent two years specializing in retina surgery & retinal diseases, including one year at Meir Hospital as a senior physician and another year at Centre Hospitalier Intercommunal de Creteil Hospital in Paris, France, under the chief of ophthalmology service Prof. Eric Souied, focusing on complex retina and cataract surgery (including 3D surgery), Special lens fixation, and the most advanced multimodal retinal imaging in the world.
In addition, Dr. Ohayon researches and publishes articles in the professional literature, gives lectures in international and domestic conferences, guiding students and ophthalmology residents at Ichilov Hospital, and instructor of international fellows (Fellowship) for retinal surgery.
